The Upper Room is located 3 miles from Texas A&M University in College Station.  This Cape Cod-style home rests on a quiet, one-acre, cul-de-sac lot and backs up to the green belt of Brothers Pond Park.  In the summer of 2006, we converted a 500 sq ft bonus room into a suite with private bathroom which includes a queen bed, twin bed, sitting area and breakfast nook.  The room is tastefully decorated in a French Country theme highlighted with wall art by photographer, Lisette Templin of Templin Photography www.templinphoto.com.  All detached from the main residence with a private entrance and on-site parking.

Guests can take advantage of the amenities offered at Brothers Pond Park (http://www.cstx.gov/home/index.asp?page=523).  Exit through the back gate of the property and find yourself at the pond; home to turtles, fish and a family of ducks.  Wind your way around the pond for a shaded walk through the many trails.  We encourage you to load up your breakfast tray and bring it down to the back porch for a rest on our white porch rockers OR take it over to the pond and sit a spell on the bench provided.

The Upper Room boasts the conveniences of the city as well as the tranquility of the country.  The innkeepers, Mark (Class of ‘85, retired USMC officer) and Margaret (Class of ‘88, former volleyball student-athlete), invite you to spend a few days of Aggie hospitality at The Upper Room.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Upon reserving the room, a deposit equal to one night’s lodging (+ tax) is due.  A full refund of the deposit will be honored if the cancellation occurs 7 days prior to check-in date (minus credit card processing fee of 3.2%). All other cancellations forfeit deposit amount.
